Get to Know Rev. Dr. Andrea “Andi” Saccoccio

Andrea “Andi” Saccoccio with search committee member, Mark Davis

Rev. Dr. Andrea “Andi” Saccoccio has served faithfully in a variety of roles as both a lay person and a Minister of Word and Sacrament in the PCUSA.

Andi is a graduate of Western Maryland College (BA), Fuller Theological Seminary (M.Div.) and George Fox University (D.Min.). Andi comes to us with a wealth of both pastoral and executive experience as she has served as an associate pastor, chaplain, executive pastor, and executive director for churches and other institutions including Menlo Park Presbyterian and University Presbyterian Church in Seattle; schools including Whitworth University and the Seattle School of Theology and Psychology; hospitals including the VA Healthsystems in Pittsburgh; and a variety of non-profits and community organizations including International Justice Mission, Oasis International, Seattle Humane and Sojourners.

The Executive Search Committee members were impressed with the ease with which Andi presented herself and the enthusiasm and confidence that she projected. Andi’s experiences have provided her with the tools to build trust among diversity and create opportunities for collaboration. She is eager to build relationships with the members of presbytery and seek creative solutions to aid churches in providing for the communities that they serve.
