Presbyterian Women of Los Ranchos Presbytery Winter Gathering

Saturday, February 2, 2019 from 9:30AM to Noon

Canvas Presbyterian Church
17322 Von Karman #115
Irvine, CA

Suggested donation is $10.

Presbyterian Women of Los Ranchos warmly invite women and men to Canvas Church on Sat., Feb. 2 to hear from an all-star panel: Mohammed Aly of Orange County Poverty Alleviation Coalition, Jacob Avery of UCI, and Helen Cameron of Jamboree Housing Corporation. Displays by Photographer David Freeman and Artist Brian Peterson of Faces of Santa Ana along with one of his painting subjects will also be there.

The unusual aspect of this program is that between it and a second program on May 4, there will be a Buffet of Educational Experiences(BEES) for participants to learn from and acquire knowledge. The BEES are hands on activities and other opportunities to tour housing, serve alongside non-profits, and interact with the homeless and advocacy communities to learn what needs there are and what is being done. A host of folks all over OC are stepping up to provide this.
