Lori Ruff- Schmalenberger is a ruling elder in the PCUSA, currently serving on the New Worshiping Communities Network Team of the Presbytery of Los Ranchos. Professionally, she has been the Director of Children’s Ministries at Tustin Presbyterian Church for nearly a decade. Prior to that, she considered herself a “Freelance Presbyterian”, serving committees at her local church, presbytery, synod, and General Assembly. She holds a B.A. in Religion/Philosophy from Grove City College and an M.A. in Religious Education from Pittsburgh Theological Seminary. She and her husband Russ (whom she met in 5th grade Sunday School) have one adult daughter, Ruth, who lives in Minnesota.
Robin Clardy is the Assistant to the Stated Clerk for the Presbytery of Los Ranchos as well as a pastoral counselor with a passion to assist people in their journey towards healing, wholeness, and transformation. Robin integrates her education in theology and psychology, with her pastoral calling and experience with helping people face the tough questions of life. She received her BA in Psychology from Whitworth College; her Master of Arts in Theology and Marriage and Family from Fuller Theological Seminary; and her M.Div. and D.Min. from San Francisco Theological Seminary. She finds that the best education at times comes from attending to one’s life journey.
