You are Invited to the 226th General Assembly!

May 7, 2024

The clock is ticking toward the June 25th opening of the 226th General Assembly of the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.).

The theme of GA226, “Live into Hope, is based on the hymn of the same name by Jane Parker Huber. Daily themes have been chosen based on verses of the hymn. The Stated Clerk of the General Assembly chose the theme as an opportunity to charge the denomination after being in a space of lament and hope. We are now being charged to live into that hope.

Who Can Come to GA226?
Anyone! This year’s new format includes online committee meetings from June 25 to 28 and in-person plenaries in Salt Lake City from June 29 to July 4. If you would like to participate as an observer, whether in Salt Lake City or online, the registration is open now. All committee and plenary meetings will be live-streamed.

Lots of information about GA can be found here.
