Laguna Presbyterian Church
In his new role as our Regional Representative for the Board of Pensions, Clayton Cobb invites you to a luncheon for Los Ranchos Pastors and Administrators hosted by the Board. This gathering is meant to bring together pastors and administrators for fellowship, sharing of best practices, and to hear about how the Board of Pensions can better support you and your church staffs.
Joining Clayton for this luncheon will be John McFayden, Vice President for Church Relations from the Board. As the former pastor of the Arlington Heights Presbyterian Church in the Chicago area, John brings not only a keen understanding of the issues of the local church, but also the vast array of the Board’s resources.
Please feel fee to widen this circle and share this invitation with other members of your staff or other colleagues who may benefit from this luncheon.
Items to be addressed will include:
Philosophy and theology of benefits as a part of compensation
Brief review of our current benefit offerings for Pastors and Associates (and how to make the most of them)
The Affiliated Benefits Program for other church employees
The Employee Assistance Program as a resource for Pastors and Personnel Committees
The Supplemental 403b Retirement Program for all church employees (a vital saving option to encourage)
Other Supplemental Offerings from the Board (Supplemental Death Benefits, Optional Dental, Optional Long Term Care, Optional Supplemental Disability Benefit)
Sundried Tomato Bistro and Café will be catering our lunch.
