Since 1994, Watoto Children’s Choirs have toured internationally as advocates for the 15 million children in Africa orphaned as a result of AIDS. Each of the children in the choir has lost one or both of their parents. They live in Watoto Children’s Village Homes.
They present an energetic fusion of contemporary gospel and traditional African rhythms.”Concerts of Hope” are a lively demonstration of the life-changing love of God experienced by the children of Watoto. Audiences are given an opportunity to support the work of Watoto child care programs in Uganda. The concert is free, but an offering for the Watoto Child Care Program will be taken.
