Worship
Dan Vigilante from St. Mark Presbyterian Church led worship on the piano.
The focus of the service was on mission and three pastors who serve outside the US spoke, including: Tim Fearer, an Old Testament Professor from Turkey, Ron Oglesbee from Thailand (via Skype) and Erin Dunigan from La Mision.
Retirement
Rev. David Throop was honored with great affection by the entire Presbytery and with tender words by longtime friend, Jim Wilson. Keith Geckeler, our Stated Clerk and APP, presented David with a “Retirement Chalice.”
David has been added to our Honorably Retired list and may be available for Pulpit Supply beginning January 1, 2012.
