If you use Google Earth, here is a set of placemarks for the congregations of our presbytery. It's fun to fly from church to church and get a sense of the distance, geography, and neighborhoods in our presbytery. It's even a nice tool for practicing contemplative prayer over our churches. As you pray for each church you can fly over it and view it as you pray.
To download the set of placmarks in a Google Earth KMZ file,
After you download and open the KMZ file, it will place a folder full of our Los Ranchos congregations in your "Temporary Places" folder. If you want to keep them you can drag them out of "Temporary Places" into another spot in your "Places" section.
If you do not use Google Earth, you can learn about it at: http://earth.google.com/
Google Earth does not work on older computers.
Please read carefully before trying to download.
Also note that only the basic Google Earth is free.
Higher versions require a fee.
Happy flying!
